Mary Hey and Sandra Derrick are the owners of Pentimento Studio, which is located in Pearland, TX. We share the love of the decorative arts field and provide professional services to the Houston and Gulf Coast area of Texas.
We offer an array of techniques that can transform walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, or furniture into something extraordinary. The possibilities are endless. We excel at imitating real world materials such as stone, wood or marble and fabric designs such as damask. We also specialize in plaster finishes as well as simple decorative finishes such as color washes and glazes. Through collaborative planning with you, it is possible to create a finish for every type of project.
We can change wood fireplaces into marble, or change your marble fireplace into wood (we haven't been asked this yet, but it is only a paint brush away).
